After months of negotiations, presentations and tenders, Step 1 Internet have been appointed by the Kirklees Community and Legal Services Commission (Kcals) to develop 14 interlinked websites for each of the Kirklees areas Legal Services representatives.

Whilst each site will be fully functioning and 'stand alone', information will also be passed between the sites to direct the user to the correct advice provider for their particular issue. Advice providers include local solicitors, the Citizens Advise Bureau, Age Concern, Benefits Advice, West Yorkshire Trading Standards and The Yorkshire & Humberside Low Pay Unit.
